Spread the Glove – Last Chance to Donate Your Winter Woolies for Big Issue Vendors

Thank you to all of the staff and clients who have contributed so generously to the Spread The Glove campaign that we’ve been running on behalf of The Big Issue. Your generosity has been overwhelming! We’ve had people stop in our offices to deposit unwanted woolies in our collection boxes.

One of our clients even stopped by The Big Issue headquarters on Queensferry Street to deliver hand-knitted scarves in person after seeing our original appeal before Christmas! It’s not too late to help us to help others and to hand-in unwanted items to either of our offices or to The Big Issue office on Queensferry Street, however we shall be removing the boxes on 31 March so please bring anything you have before then.

The MOV8 team was lucky enough to be invited to The Big Issue social gathering earlier this month where we chatted and danced with the vendors. We heard stories of how the gloves, hat and scarves that people had donated have made so much of a difference to the daily lives of the vendors as they sell their magazines on the street, especially in the recent terrible weather.

We’d love any old gloves, hats or scarves you can get your mitts on! Either pop them in to either of our offices or take them to The Big Issue HQ on Queensferry Street before 31 March.

Thank you to everyone who has donated on behalf of MOV8 and The Big Issue!
