Property Market Update November 2019

November From the Agent’s Point of View

Commenting on the month’s property news and statistics, MOV8 R eal Estate’s Managing Director, Robert Carroll, stated:

“The property market in Scotland continues to shine, in stark contrast to the market in London, with the average selling price in Scotland being up by 1.6% compared to the same period last year.

“East Dunbartonshire has seen the largest increase with house prices rising by 4.7% to £223,564. Glasgow continues to top the leaderboard for the total number of recorded sales, with the City of Edinburgh not far behind.

“It appears that property sellers and buyers in Scotland have given up on waiting for Brexit before they make a move. We have seen the busiest start to a November in recent years in terms of property sellers putting their properties on the market. With demand high and prices continuing to rise, it’s a great time to be selling. All the more so given that MOV8 is offering an amazing 50% off our Estate Agency Fee until 14 November 2019!”
